Product Photo Maximalists?

In the middle of our photo shoot, I had to take a step back and laugh at ourselves.  We started out with some elaborate ideas but by the end, we just shot the tea on a white background.  This is familiar ground for us.  We usually start with a big idea and then end up widdling away at it until the essentials are left.  Sometimes simpler is better.
