Small-cut black tea & plenty of sweet spices make this traditional Indian tea the spiciest of our chai blends. Make it in a pan the traditional way or one cup at a time. Either way, this tea really shines with milk & sugar!
To make two servings on the stove: combine two heaping teaspoons with one cup water in a small pan. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Add one cup milk and heat until just simmering. Remove from heat and sweeten to taste. Pour through a strainer into mugs. Some of our favorite sweeteners are brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup!
- The tea bag mesh is made out of a plant-derived, compostable material called PLA. There are no plasticizers, microplastics, or adhesives that will leach into your tea.
- Sample pouches typically contain 2-3 servings of loose leaf tea but may occasionally contain two of our compostable tea bags.
- Jars are powder coated glass mason jars and measure approximately 3 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall. They are totally air tight and protect tea from UV light. If you buy a jar the first time and be sure to save it: you can simply order a refill bag when you need more.
